რა მონაცემებს ვინახავთ

  • ანგარიშის მონაცემები — ელფოსტა და სახელი. ანგარიშებს ქმნის მასწავლებელი. Google-ით შესვლისას Google-იდან ვიღებთ შენს სახელს, ელფოსტას და პროფილის სურათს — მხოლოდ იმისთვის, რომ არსებულ ანგარიშში შეხვიდე.
  • სასწავლო პროგრესი — რომელი ეპიზოდები გაქვს გახსნილი, შენახული (რჩეული) სიტყვები, მოსმენის პარამეტრები და ბოლო გაჩერების ადგილი.
  • ქუქიები (cookies) — მხოლოდ შესვლის სესიისა და მცირე პარამეტრების ქუქიები. სარეკლამო ან თვალთვალის ქუქიებს არ ვიყენებთ.
  • პრობლემის შეტყობინებები — თუ აპში პრობლემას შეგვატყობინებ, ვინახავთ იმას, რასაც დაწერ, და ტექნიკურ დეტალებს შენი მოწყობილობისა და იმ გვერდის შესახებ, სადაც იმ მომენტში იყავი — რომ პრობლემა გამოსწორდეს. პაროლებს არასდროს ვინახავთ. რომ მასწავლებელმა მალე შეამჩნიოს, Telegram-ით ეგზავნება მოკლე შეტყობინება: შენი სახელი (ან შენი ელფოსტა, თუ ანგარიშს სახელი არ აქვს), რომელ გვერდზე იყავი, საიტის რომელი ვერსია მუშაობდა და შენი ტექსტის დასაწყისი. შენი მოწყობილობის ტექნიკური დეტალები არასდროს იგზავნება — ისინი ჩანაწერში რჩება.

როგორ ვიყენებთ

მონაცემები გამოიყენება მხოლოდ იმისთვის, რომ შეძლო ანგარიშში შესვლა და შენი პროგრესი ყველა მოწყობილობაზე შენთან ერთად იყოს. რეკლამა არ გვაქვს, ანალიტიკას არ ვაგროვებთ — ზემოთ აღწერილი ავტომატური ჩანაწერი შეცდომაზეა და არა იმაზე, თუ როგორ იყენებ აპს — და მონაცემებს არავის ვყიდით და არავის ვუზიარებთ, გარდა ზემოთ აღწერილი მოკლე შეტყობინებებისა, რომლებიც Telegram-ით იგზავნება.

სად ინახება

მონაცემები ინახება Supabase-ის დაცულ სერვერებზე და გადაცემისას დაშიფრულია. მათზე წვდომა მხოლოდ მასწავლებელს (ადმინისტრატორს) აქვს. ზემოთ აღწერილი მოკლე შეტყობინებები Telegram-ის სერვერებით გადის და მასწავლებლის Telegram-ის ჩატში რჩება.

რამდენ ხანს ვინახავთ

სანამ შენი ანგარიში არსებობს. ანგარიშის წაშლისას ყველა მონაცემი წაიშლება. პრობლემის შეტყობინებები და უკუკავშირი, რომლებიც უკვე მოგვარებულია, ავტომატურად იშლება 180 დღის შემდეგ. შეცდომების ავტომატური ჩანაწერი იშლება მაშინ, როცა იგივე შეცდომა 90 დღეა აღარ განმეორებულა.

Who we are

EliWords is a practice site for the students of English With Eli: students listen back to lesson episodes and practise their vocabulary. The site is run by the teacher. For any questions, write to eng.with.eli@gmail.com.

What data we store

  • Account data — email address and display name. Accounts are created by the teacher. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google — used only to sign you in to your existing account.
  • Learning progress — which episodes you have opened, your saved (starred) words, listening preferences and where you last left off.
  • Cookies — only login-session cookies and small preference cookies. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Problem reports — if you report a problem in the app, we store what you write, plus technical details about your device and the page you were on at the time, so the problem can be fixed. We never store passwords. So that your teacher notices it quickly, a short notice is sent over Telegram: your name (or your email address, if your account has no name), which page you were on, which version of the site was running, and the beginning of what you wrote. The technical details about your device are never sent — they stay in the record.
  • Feedback — if you send feedback or a suggestion from the app, we store what you write, which account it came from, when you sent it and which version of the site was running. No technical details about your device or the page are stored for feedback. So that your teacher sees it quickly, a short notice with the beginning of your text is sent over Telegram. Your name and email are never sent.
  • Automatic crash records — if something in the app breaks, the app records what broke by itself, whether or not an error screen appears: the error message and its technical trace, which page it happened on (the page address only, never what you typed into search), your phone model where the browser will say, and which version of the site was running — so the teacher can fix it. This happens automatically; you do not have to do anything. The first time a given fault appears, a short notice also goes to the teacher over Telegram: which page it happened on, the version of the site, your phone model, and the beginning of the error message. The technical trace is never sent — it stays in the record. The record is not linked to your account and holds nothing you typed into the app. There is one record per distinct fault, not one per student: if the same fault has been recorded before, your case adds one to its count and refreshes the page, phone model and site version the record names. Error messages are written by the app and by your browser, not by us — we strip out passwords and access keys before one is stored, but on rare occasions a message repeats back something it was handed, such as the email address you were signing in with.

How we use it

Your data is used only to sign you in and to keep your progress with you on every device. There are no ads, we collect no analytics — the automatic crash record above is about a failure, not about how you use the app — and we never sell your data or share it with third parties, apart from the short Telegram notices described above.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on Supabase's secure servers and encrypted in transit. Only the teacher (the administrator) can access it. The short Telegram notices described above pass through Telegram's servers and stay in the teacher's Telegram chat.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes all of your data. Problem reports and feedback that have been dealt with are deleted automatically after 180 days. An automatic crash record is deleted once the same fault has not happened for 90 days.

Your rights

You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your data — write to eng.with.eli@gmail.com or see the data deletion page.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
